Did you know that Sick Jacken and Cynic were on the television show called “Combate Americas” on Mun2? They stopped by the contestants house a few days ago in Miami, Florida and met with the fighters, hung out and got to ask them questions about their fights. Psycho Realm is everywhere and this is dope that my favorite artists are doing cool things like getting on the MMA side. Make sure to tune into Mun2 to catch the re-run of the episode!

Cain Valasquez won the heavyweight championship this past weekend with a brutal fight against Junior dos Santos. With dos Santos winning the first fight via TKO against Valasquez, within a minute into the fight, and the first national live fight for UFC on FOX. Valasquez vowed to come back stronger, faster and take his belt back. This weekend was the rematch. dos Santos is widely concidered the champion among the heavyweight bracket, with the KO of Valasquez, but this fight was a different story. Valasquez applied much pressure against dos Santos and beat dos Santos to the punch, and scored takedown after takedown, with a little ground n pound. The fight went the full 5 rounds, with Valasquez winning all rounds, and even scoring a 8-10 round on two of the judges scorecards. Here is a review of the fight with some highlights!

Cain Valasquez Vs Junior dos Santos II

This weekend is going to feature two of the top heavyweights in the UFC. It will be a rematch of last years heavyweight fight, between Champion Junior Dos Santos against Mexican #1 Contender Cain Valasquez. In the first fight, Valasquez was the champion, and lost the fight by a knockout. There was much hype before the fight, because these two fighters are the best heavyweight fighters in the world, and there was an awesome right hand by Dos Santos flush on Valasquez’s temple. This Saturday, there will be a rematch between these two with some promises of some hard hitting action. Make sure to tune into the fight this weekend and support your favorite latino fighter. Cain Valasquez is Mexican, and Junior Dos Santos is Brazilian.

Dos Santos Vs Valasquez [First Fight]

I gotta give this guy Popek props on having the guts to do a tattoo like this. Popek, who is a Polish MMA Fighter and a Rapper, decided to tattoo his eyeballs, with green artificial eyeballs, complete with pupils. He is already tatted up from his neck to his feet, and couldn’t think of another way to just get more ink. So he decided instead of getting facial tattoos, he was going to tattoo his eyeballs. I dont know if this is a trend in Europe to do this type of thing, but the person who was in charge of doing the tattoo sounds nervous out of his mind during the video. It was his first time doing it. So watch the video by clicking it, and do not try this at home.

Polish Rapper and MMA Fighter Popek gets his eyeballs tattooed. Not his eyelids, or below his eyes, but his actual eyeballs.

 

Remember Kimbo Slice? The dude who would backstage fight all over youtube. The guy who entered MMA and was knocking people out until he got caught and got knocked out himself by a kick by Seth Petruzelli for Elite XC. Then he ended up on The Ultimate Fighter, which was a show for potential UFC newcomers would have an opportunity to win a spot on the UFC roster along with a $100,000 deal, then lost the competition on the very first fight. From there UFC still offered him a fight vs Matt Mitrione and Kimbo lost that one too. Since MMA, Kimbo signed with a boxing promoter and already had 2 fights. The most recent against Brian Green (not the dude thats married to Megan Fox). This is Kimbo vs Green, Round 4 of a 4 round fight.

As you can guess, we love sports, mainly Boxing, MMA, NBA, NFL and MLB. We got another good fight night tonight as UFC 142. The headliner for the night is Jose Aldo vs Chad Mendes. Aldo is the champion and the best in his division, hands down.
