Ravens XLVII Champions

Super Bowl XLVII was just as exciting and close as I thought it would be, but not without some controversy. Alicia Keys sang the national anthem and Jennifer Hudson sang “America The Beautiful” with the children from Sandy Hook Elementry.First, Baltimore was demolishing the 49ers in the first half, playing extremely well defense and offense with the score ending the first half at 21-6. Halftime came around and Beyonce performed a few of her songs, (along with Destiny’s Child) and halftime was over. Baltimore scored from kickoff to resume the second half making the score 28-6, and a few minutes later, there was a huge power outage at the Superdome (in New Orleans, LA). Power was out for the whole stadium for about 35 minutes, making this year’s Superbowl the longest in history. Thats when the 49ers started to take charge, scoring a touchdown on their next two possessions and turning the score from 28-6 to 28-20 Ravens. Baltimore then fumbled on their next possession, causing a turnover and 49ers drove down the field and missed a field goal, but a Ravens player hit the kicker, which was a 5 yard penalty and repeat 4th down, which the field goal kicker converted, and the score was now 28-23. Baltimore then recieved again and drove down the field and scored a field goal with under 5 minutes left to play in the game, which brought the score to 31-23. But the 49ers didnt give up yet, scoring another touchdown with 5 minutes left in the game, with a new score of 31-29. San Francisco decided to go for the two point conversion, since one point wouldnt matter at that point, but Kaepernick threw an incomplete pass. Baltimore had the ball again, and they would not choke, marching down the field and scoring with yet again another field goal, bringing the score to 34-29, a five point lead. It was going down to the wire and San Francisco headed downfield and got to First and Goal on the 7 yard line. The 49ers went 4 and out, with Baltimores crushing defense holding on and gaining possession with 11 left, on the 5 yard line. Then it was San Francisco’s time to apply the heavy defense, holding Baltimore to no first downs after 3 plays. Baltimore then fake punted, letting the kicker waste 7 seconds from the clock before finally running out of bounds (which also caused a saftey). With only 4 seconds left in the game, and up by 5 points, Baltimore kicked off and Ginn ran it back, only to get tacked at midfield as time expired.

It was a really close good game, and both teams played really well. Ray Lewis won his second Superbowl, which will be his last, as he has already announced he was retiring after the season (making the announcement after the regular season and before the playoffs).

Fiesty 2 Guns – We Come From The Valley

A classic music video from Urban Kings is from UKMG Artist Fiesty 2 Guns, taken from the Charlie Row Campo album “Southern Gang Violence“. The song is called “We Come From The Valley” and was one of the dopest songs from the album. It was my favorite track from the CD, and it was put into motion to create a music video for it. And it came out to be a classic. The video has over 115,000 views online and created a huge buzz for Charlie Row worldwide. Make sure to check out this classic music video and if you dont own the Southern Gang Violence album, make sure to pick it up today. It is available where all music is sold, including Amazon, FYE, iTunes and the Urban Kings Flagship Shop! It is also available at the UKMG Merch Store.
